Because the materials we're specifying cost more. A dedicated acquisition layer, a premium Japanese SAP core and a higher-grade topsheet cost meaningfully more than what goes into a mass-market premium diaper. At a planned ₹27.5 a diaper on subscription, it still lands at roughly half of what imported premium brands typically sell for in India.

We're in the process of finalising an export-grade contract manufacturer, and we'll name the facility and the material suppliers on this page once the first batch is confirmed. Every batch will be independently tested in India at an NABL-accredited lab before it goes on sale, and we'll publish the report here rather than summarise it.

Then it's free. The trial pack carries a night-test refund: use it against whatever you're on now, and if Malmal doesn't win the night, we refund it and you keep the pack. No courier pickup, no returns form, no questions. We'd rather lose ₹250 than have you paying monthly for something that isn't better — and honestly, we'd rather hear why it lost.

Because we'll publish the report, not a claim. Every production batch goes to an NABL-accredited lab and gets tested to IS 17509:2021 methods for capacity, rewet and absorption speed. The full report goes on this page, batch by batch, alongside the complete material declaration — topsheet gsm, SAP supplier, fluff, backsheet, all of it named. If a batch misses the targets on this page, it doesn't ship. You'll be able to check us instead of believing us, which is the entire point.

Pant-style M (7–12 kg) and L (9–14 kg) — the sizes most babies wear longest. Newborn, S, XL and XXL come later as we grow. Tell us your size when you reserve; if enough Founding Families need something we haven't planned for, that changes the plan.

Our specification excludes added fragrance, added lotion and chlorine bleaching. We'll publish the full material declaration alongside the lab report before launch, so you can check the spec against the result rather than trust a claim on a landing page.
